A curbless shower with plenty of space for a caregiver and a walk-in tub makes daily routines safer and more comfortable for Shelley’s parents, Joe and Sharon.
Shelley always dreamed of having a freestanding slipper tub with a full circular curtain. This bathroom gives her a private space to relax and recharge.
We had an initial consultation with Shelley and her parents and then created 2D and 3D renderings, prioritizing aging-in-place safety and style preferences.
The primary suite renovation was completed first to address the immediate safety needs of Shelley’s parents. This included reconfiguring the awkward bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen layout for a more user-friendly and accessible primary suite.
Shelley planned to move in as a caregiver for her parents, so she needed a comfortable suite with fresh, low-maintenance finishes. We remodeled her bathroom and added plenty of storage space to keep it tidy.

The final cost exceeded the original budget because the homeowner requested a vanity upgrade, which added $14,400 to the final cost. Otherwise, the project was completed on time and within the budget.
