Ed and Lisa’s original kitchen didn’t match their lifestyle. The split-level island and awkward layout made cooking and entertaining a hassle. By redesigning the space, we created a seamless flow between the kitchen and great room—perfect for gatherings, everyday tasks, and everything in between.
We replaced the old split-level, bar-height island with a single-level countertop—adding about 24 inches of additional prep and seating space. Now there’s a better flow, enhanced functionality, and a smoother transition between the kitchen and great room.
The bold OXIDA Series “Jolly Green” tile paired with warm terracotta grout creates instant visual character. It perfectly balances modern quartz and oak tones while adding that signature Southwest flair.
